Way too long in between updates! Wow life is busy. Since the last blog Evelyn has turned 11 (now almost 12) and Grace is 10. Back in January we had to lay our beloved Labs (Riley and Piper) to rest. Sadly they were so attached they passed with in about 10 days of each other. Our house seemed too empty and on Valentines Day we brought home a new 4 legged baby from PAWS. Named him Remy. He has filled the emptiness very nicely.

This Summer we hung locally until August. We visited Whistler BC with GG, UK, Aunt Sabra and Tyler. We had a great time and were taken by all its beauty up there.

Then we returned and celebrated My 40th (EEK). Steve surprised me with a trip to Vegas. We had a wonderful get away.

Enjoyed some pool time

Girls just started 5th and 6th Grade this past week and so far so good! Wish time didn't fly by so fast! Hopefully will update again before they are in high school!

Very Bad Busy Mom!

Wow.... a year has gone by. Here we are Parents of Evelyn 9 and Grace almost 8.... Seriously sound like my parents when I say they are growing too fast and are going on 18! Evelyn in particular is wanting to me a teen so much, I ground her as much as possible but she still has the "tude" of a teen and is all about her shows and the ipod lately... Grace is sweet and fun but under the influence of her Sister, catching up quicker than I would like,  wearing larger clothes and catching up in the shoe department. Awwww the thrills of parenting 2 Girls.

We recently returned from vacation, first in a few years and last for a bit (hopefully not too long). We flew to Florida to take a cruise to the islands, while we were there thought we better do some Disney. Was a blast, long and exhausting but wonderful! Traveling with my family is always eventful but so much fun, seriously treasure every moment. Kids are spoiled rotten! If I could just leave them home We could take these trips more often. So we spent 4 days in Orlando (2 at Disneyworld, 1 by the pool, send Steve to a Nascar event) then 7 on a cruise to the Carribean (Bahamas, St. Thomas, & St. Martin). Great time!

Here are a few pictures to catch us up. First the annual Santa photo then some trip pics.

Way behind! Adding our 2011 Santa photo in May (the 31st to be exact). Horrible. Look how old Our Girls are! They have us very busy, with school, school activities, gymnastics, brownies and the tons of laundry I have to do to keep up with their constant outfit changes... Not to mention I am back to work full time. Here's quickish update.

Evelyn now 8 1/2 and is in 2nd grade, acting 13 at times. Loving gymnastics is at Cascade Elite level 2B, practicing 1x a week 90 minutes. Also in the Glee club at school, enjoys this as well. She loves music, is very up on the new tunes and always telling Me what I need to put on our playlist (thank goodness). She got a cell phone for her birthday but rarely uses it. Mostly when I force it on her to keep in touch from the boys and girls club. Evelyn is super inquisitive and very sensitive.

Grace is 7 is in first grade. Also in gymnastics once a week for an hour she has been steady in a beginner class. Grace hopes to join Glee when she is in 2nd grade (next year) as they dont allow 1st graders to join yet. For now she has enjoyed the concerts with us in the audience. She is a techy kid, loves her DS, can run most mechanics, she loves to snag her sisters cell phone to text her friends. Grace has a ton of energy still and the biggest heart ever.

Steve and I are doing great, will be celebrating our 11th anniversary in July. I have been at Vista optical for a year now and am enjoying the convenience and commute. Full time has been adjustment but we are adapting well. With that I am stepping down from PTO board secretary to just plain old board member. We have some fun stuff planned for the summer including Lake Chelan and Sol Duc as usual. Hope to plan our next vacation soon.

Riley is now 12 and Piper is now 11 and they are both doing super. Other than a ton of greys Riley isn't showing her age at all. Pipers starting to have some minor aging issues but still a huge love bug and the heart of a pup.

Its the Most Wonderful time of the Year!

Seriously.... December 1st already! My oldest will be 6! SIX!!! In 3 short weeks. Melancholy sets in, once again. The itch for another baby needs to be scratch or needs a STRONG ointment! Life is change a ton over the last few years. Both Girls are in school, we can rest easier, travel more, and We laugh a lot! Evelyn is enjoying Kindergarten and is getting great reports from Her teacher. Grace loves Teacher Diane and Jo in Pre K and is bringing home a lot of great pieces of art.

I love to compare the Santa photo's as a true testament to how much They have grown. I have to do it once again, show ALL the past photos with the BIG MAN and then Todays! Happy Holiday's to ALL! Here we go.
